Are you passionate about driving change and be active in the transition towards sustainability? Then join us as an Environmental Manager in the transformation of our supply chain, products and business.
FabricAir is an international organization, and the job includes traveling activities as well as organizing and orchestrating online communication across continents. You will therefore be met by a hybrid remote – and flexible office position in either Vilnius or Alytus, Lithuania.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Environmental Manager, you'll be heading projects within sustainability as an integrated part of our business. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our practices meet global standards. You will be referring to the Group COO, working closely with Sustainability Steering Committee (of CXO and board members).
You will become project manager of sustainability projects as well as being responsible for our Sustainability Roadmap transforming the organization to a clean and circular economy. You will be engaged in the development of new products, projects, and business development.
If you have the heart for engaging in the green transition on company and product level, then we will enroll you in the complex world of ESG, circular economy and sustainability and expanding your competences here. You will work intensively with product documentation and certification, as well as Quality Assurance of products.
You will participate in establishing data for our ESG reporting.
We don’t expect you to be excelling in CSRD and all the new regulations within sustainability, but we want you to have a strong technical, scientific background with interest in sustainability, product quality, data management and project management. You should have a good business understanding from the private sector and an innovative mind set to also become part of the business development in FabricAir.
Who You Are
You have a passion for sustainable futures and would like to be part of a company that changes the way of doing business into more circular business models.
Managing sustainability initiatives involves complex projects with multiple stakeholders. And in your past, you have led projects, so you already know the importance of keeping everything on track.
Sustainability is data-driven. From tracking carbon emissions to calculating ROI on eco-friendly initiatives, knowing how to analyze and report data is crucial. This is something you are family with and thrive to work with data in details.
You’ll need to convince executives, colleagues, and even suppliers about the importance of sustainability initiatives. Effective communication is key here. Here we will help you. But your personality should be a communicative one.
Sustainability is about more than just good intentions—it’s also about following laws and standards. You may be familiar with following terms or we will onboard you here if this is your weak spot.
You are innovative, strategic, and able to balance detailed planning with a broad overview perspective. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to excellence are vital. Sustainability challenges require creative solutions. And you can create an environment that fosters innovation.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Engineer or Master of science (biology, chemistry, or other)
